Nuevo disco de Cristina Aguilera - Bionic

La cantante pop Christina Aguilera lanzará su nuevo single titulado "Not Myself Tonight", este martes (30 de Marzo), según se anunciara en su web oficial. El estreno de este tema será a las 18:00 horas ET. La canción forma parte del álbum inédito "Bionic", y la canción que será tocada online.

Christina no lanza un disco hace ya más de tres años. En 'Bionic', ella cuenta con la participación de renombrados personales de la música, como los proyectos de electro Ladytron y Le Tigris y los productores Tricky Stewart y Linda Perry.

La imagen que se muestra arriba corresponde a la tapa o portada del disco, cuyo lanzamiento mundial está previsto para el día 7 de junio.

Foo Fighters grabará álbum con productor de Nirvana

Foo Fighters grabará con productor de Nirvana La banda Foo Fighters, liderada por el ex-batería del Nirvana Dave Grohl, se reunirá con el productor Butch Vig (del clásico álbum "Nevermind") para la producción del séptimo disco del grupo.

El sucesor de "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace", de 2007, comienza a ser grabado en septiembre. De acuerdo con entrevista dada por Grohl a la BBC, "este es el primer álbum hecho con Vig en 20 años".

"Tiene algo en el trabajo de él que hace con que una música suene más monumental", elogió el músico. Para él, la reunión con el productor ayudará el Foo Fighters a sonar más básico y crudo en el nuevo álbum.

Foo Fighters lanzó seis discos de estudio desde su formación, en 1995. Dave Grohl actualmente excursiona por Europa con su proyecto paralelo Them Crooked Vultures.

Esta fue la presentación de Américo en el Festival de Viña del Mar 2010. El intérprete chileno encandiló la Quinta Vergara con los temas cumbiamberos de reconocidos compositores como el peruano Estanis Mogollón (“El embrujo”), José Peña López, el español Manuel Alejandro, el mexicano Alejandro Bestani (“Me enamoré de ti y qué”), y más.

Américo, que cantó temas como “Te vas, te vas”, “El Embrujo”, “Entre odio y amor”, “A llorar a otra parte”, “Solo”, “Que levante la mano” y “Tendría que llorar por ti”; se llevó finalmente dos antorchas y dos gaviotas.

Anahí de RBD la pasó mal en Viña del Mar 2010. Según trascendió, la cantante mexicana fue víctima del público de la Quinta Vergara, que la pifió durante su primera presentación en dicho escenario.

Por ello, y ante lo ocurrido, la ex integrante de RBD no dudó en volcar su tristeza a través del Twitter, donde escribió: "No sé si mis fans van a ir a verme hoy. Yo estoy aquí por ellos. No sé van a ir, ay." [RPP]

Cosa curiosa es que, según la prensa mexicana, esto nunca sucedió y mas bien afirmó que la presentación de Anahí fue todo un acontecimiento. ¿Cuál es la verdad?

El grupo mexicano Reik será el encargado de abrir la segunda noche del Festival de Viña del Mar 2010, hoy Martes 23 de Febrero 2010. Los intérpretes de 'Noviembre Sin Ti', 'Inolvidable' y 'Yo Quisiera Ser', sus más grandes éxitos, cautivarán al 'monstruo' con su juventud y sus melodías.

Luego de la presentación del grupo mexicano, la noche seguirá en manos de la ex chica RBD, Anahí, quien además es parte del Jurado Internacional.

Finalmente, y cerrando con broche de oro, estará en el escenario el reggaetonero Don Omar, show que sin duda hará 'perrear' y delirar a toda la Quinta Vergara con su música.

Don Omar señaló en conferencia de prensa que "si el 2007 (en su anterior presentación en Viña del Mar) marcó mi historia, mañana ‘Prototipe I Don’ (su actual espectáculo) va a ser el tema del que se va a hablar el resto de la semana".

‘El Rey’, como es denominado, subirá a la Quinta Vergara con 16 bailarines chilenos que reforzarán su cuerpo de baile habitual, además de igual número de músicos sobre el escenario.

"Tengo un cuerpo de 16 bailarines trabajando para la presentación, es uno de los intercambios culturales del que más provecho hemos sacado. Chile tiene jóvenes llenos de talento y energía, y lo van a ver mañana (martes)", comentó. [Notimex]

Nuevo Disco de Coldplay para fines del 2010

Nuevo Disco de Coldplay 2010 La banda británica Coldplay informó que ya está trabajando en su quinto álbum de estudio, cuya salida está prevista para fines de este año 2010.

Así lo confirmaron el líder del grupo Chris Martin (voz y teclados) y su compañero Jon Buckland (guitarra), al sitio Mtvla.com, quienes destacaron que el disco que seguirá a su actual “Vive la Vida” saldrá en Navidad, pues desde diciembre pasado iniciaron las sesiones de grabación del mismo.

Aún sin título comercial, el nuevo disco volverá a ser producida por Brian Eno, creador del ambient music y guía sonoro de bandas como U2 y Talking Heads, quien ya se había hecho cargo del último trabajo de Coldplay, "Viva la Vida" .

Las sesiones comenzaron en diciembre del año pasado, y desde entonces el grupo ha estado grabando bajo máximas normas de seguridad, para evitar cualquier filtración. "Sólo hay dos personas en todo el edificio que saben cómo abrir todos los archivos de grabación. Incluso nosotros no sabemos cómo hacerlo. ¡No podríamos ni robarnos nuestra música!" , señaló Martin.

Por otra parte, Coldplay iniciará su gira latinoamericana en el estadio de River Plate el viernes, como estaba previsto. [LATAN]

[Videos] Concierto The Cranberries en Lima, Perú

La banda de rock irlandesa The Cranberries ofreción un gran concierto en Lima, Perú, la noche del Lunes 8 de Febrero 2010, en el que unos 10.000 asistentes corearon con sus éxitos más conocidos.

"El espectáculo hizo olvidar aquellos siete años que vivieron separados, pues envolvieron al público con sus clásicos que marcaron la década de los noventa", dijo el diaro limeño "El Comercio", mientras que para "Perú 21" el concierto "fue una noche de emociones y de buena música" .

"Vamos a regresar el próximo año. Hemos tenido la más impresionante acogida aquí en Perú", dijo Dolores O'Riordan, la impecable voz del grupo, quien también manifestó la intención de su banda de visitar el santuario inca de Machu Picchu.

Temas como "Dreams", "Zombie", "Salvation" y "Ode to my family" fueron los más celebrados de la noche, aunque sin duda los seguidores de la banda sintieron la ausencia de "Just my imagination". [DPA]

Tito El Bambino en película con William Levy

Tito El Bambino - Photo Pedro Portal Tito El Bambino incursionará también en el cine. Él estaría participando en la película “Hasta que la muerte nos separe”, que dirige Abraham Pulido y protagonizan Paz Vega y William Levy, y que incluye además varios temas de El Bambino en su banda sonora. Aún no se ha determinador que rol desempeñará Tito en esta película.

“En la película usarán cinco o seis canciones de ‘El Patrón’ y Venevisión solicitó ‘El amor’ y ‘Mata’ para una telenovela sobre la historia de un boxeador que protagonizará Rudy Rodríguez. La idea de la actuación me ilusiona. Le agradezco la oportunidad que Vicente Castro me brindó y, como siempre me ha gustado actuar, me voy a preparar para actuar en el filme con Paz y William, que se rodará el año que viene”, anunció Tito en entrevista.

Respecto a su colaboración con El Potrillo, Tito dijo que grabarán la balada “Se me va la voz” que aparecerá en el disco del intérprete mexicano. El mes entrante, cuando viaje al Distrito Federal, se conocerán.
